FROG! EP release party w/ Mugger Hugger + Diego y su Floresta
FROG!
A heavy instrumental band based in Mechelen and Brussels, Belgium which is known for patiently building long, hypnotic compositions in which driving rhythms, repetitive grooves and explosive outbursts continuously feed into one another. More recently, the band explored a different approach when it comes to their songwriting. Challenging themselves to step outside their established formula, FROG! began writing shorter, more angular songs built around tighter structures and more defined arrangements.
Their debut EP, set for release in December 2026, brings both sides of the band together: their recognizable, hypnotic sound and the newer, more focused approach to songwriting. The first single ‘It was It’, one of the newer songs on the EP, was released on October 7.

Mugger Hugger
Top-notch post-post-post punk. Mugger Hugger, a name as obscure as their sound, can be described as a youthful collision between PJ Harvey and Sonic Youth. Singer/bassplayer Dora Brams’ Harvey-like vocals rolling over an ongoing guitar solo that flows effortlessly from Midas Heuvinck’s fingertips as Simon Pas drums his unique brand of mathematical nonchalance. A new young and rebellious sound from Antwerp. Innovative and familiar at the same time.
